I am a groomer and the secret is a "force dryer" it forces the moisture off the skin first. then dries the hair.

I have two Yorkies and I use a "soft" slicker for getting any matts out, and a pin brush for all over. I groom my Yorkies. There are a lot of good information on grooming on the net. I'd LOVE to have a boars bristle brush but they are so expensive and I haven't had the courage to buy one yet.

Hi, If you want to get the straight look you need to brush your dog out completly, wash in a gentle shampoo (white dog have a tendency to skin problems with too strong shampoo etc) make sure it is rinsed totally, you can use some conditioner helps keep the knots down, dry with a hair dryer on warm, brush the area you are drying, do not leave the dryer on the same spot too long, causes burning...
