It may include all of the words here, or fewer or more. The date will not be 17?? It will be dated sometime during the period that Antonio ...

Having trouble including photos. Don't know how, and have been looking for instructions but no luck. We had the violin inspected, evaluated about 4 years ago but unfortunately we've misplaced the paper work. Trying to get in contact with the business we took it to, to see if they have a duplicate.

"Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonenfis faciebat Anno 1723" is word for word exactly what is stated on the label (i...
Hope you kept the original parts, at least till you can find out the authenticity of the instrument. It would be a waste to throw that amount of dollars away.
Sorry to bust in on your thread but I have the same violin and it says; "Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1716 (the 16 is hand written it looks like pencil) Made in Germany Is this work getting it refurbished as it is in rough condition but it still works. I was told by one player that the violin top needs shaving as it is too thick. Any thoughts would be nice as I have had this for some time but dont have any idea what I...
