My nephew is almost four months old, and the chunky monkey is 18 pounds! But he is height-weight proportionate and in the 98th percentile for both (and 100th percentile for head circumference, lol). His pediatrician told my sister that she needed to start spacing feedings out 2-3 hours. I am a doula and she called me to see what I thought. I told her to find a new pediatrician. ...

Snort - I love that quote! Isn't there a saying "if there ain't a problem don't fix it"? We'd see a lot fewer mothers in tears at LLL and other meetings if it weren't for people around them to fix this or that about the breastfeeding relationship (or about being born with a foreskin, for that matter).

Yeah he is uncircumcised as well and she told them she loves that so many more parents are making that choice nowadays.

Yeah he is uncircumcised as well and she told them she loves that so many more parents are making that choice nowadays.
