I've added it, but it comes out as a series of horizontal lines rather than the vertical grid as in the picture. Can you advise how to correct this?

A couple of things to note. First, I think the background needs to be black. I got something similar when I used my normal light background. The black background seemed to work. Second, your chart needs to...

Excuse me, but if I have to put out that much money for software "lease", then add another good chunk for data feed, I want a hell of a lot more than 20 pips

Alexandra replied 3 years, 8 months ago
Appreciate the feedback; I've got red and green lines at the fibo levels horizontally surrounding the price; no vertical grid; using the black background. Apologies...I am a TS user...must be missing something basic if all of you have it looking like the picture. Would appreciate assistance. Their theory is that 20 pips twice a day reliably is plenty for anyone.

I cant get that file to run in metatrader can anyone help?? Kindest regards

stockwet replied 3 years, 8 months ago
I might be able to help. But, others are having problems, too, so, maybe not. Here are the steps you need to follow. 1. Save the fx_grid.zip file to your hard drive. 2. Open the zip file and extract the contents to (assuming you installed MetaTrader with the default parameters) Program Files | Meta Trader 4 | Experts | Indicators. Note that you must have Meta Trader version 4. 3. If Meta Trader...

Indeed....bless you....that helps. Have the initial 1 min grid up......Struggling to get the 5/10/60 grids to show up, but I'll work on it a bit more. Thanks much. Will email later.

I agree with bhale, the object of trading is to "cut losses and let winners run". Not to make 10 or 20 pips a trade. Thats like starting a savings account putting away $10 a week and then getting laid off from a job at the end of the month. Where are you then? Sun

Indeed, I actually prefer the original indicator over the interpretation that relies more on momentum.

Well it's very similar to me, but I only know what I see in the demos of the real thing. I have used it this past week with some success, but you have to have the time to watch it. I only have one or two days when I can do that. I thought there was a way to edit the code, but I can't seem to find how, just looks like you can create new ones. I think it does the same things as the moneymap, but the symbols are different, and...

here was a nice trade that i simply took pictures of. it's late in the day as you can see on the pic's lower left corner, so i didn't mind staying out. if you look at the GBPUSD grid in the first pic. we have support under price. ok, now i took this pic at the right time. as you can see on the 15 minute chart of the gbp we are running up on a [green] moving average. this is corresponding with the tip of the wedge that has formed...

Temper, temper or is it maybe that you have something to gain by newbies going to this webinair? Oh ok Swannie, let me also go walk the beach to collect beer cans to get 170 friggin dollars a week. It might be a bargain if does as it claims. Yeah right. I've seen a whole lot of systems and fancy indicators come and go trading the past ten years and living here in the basement in sunny S. Florida a stones throw from a big lake called the...
