it sounds like you have a speed limiter fitted ,,if it a ford one they can be reprogrammed but sorry its out of my league,,

iv got a ford transit its a 125 t330 drives well but does'nt go over 70mph i know it should go faster anybody now why? maybe something to do with the turbo or diesel pump?

There is a throttle position sensor on the throttle pedal, I have known these to cause the problem you are experiencing.
