Alucard's strengths are that he's very powerful in the vampire sense. But for all his years, he lacks real combat experience against legitemate opponents. His thirst for a true enemy worth fighting is testament to that issue.
Evangeline's strengths are that while a vampire, she's an unspeakably powerful mage, frighteningly competent in combat tactics and strategy, and has ...

Technically, he doesn't care to actually show any of his combat experiences. Otherwise he would have ...
He also got his ass kicked by a regular dude with big cajones...
Eva's circumstances are complicated, but at least when at full power, she got put down by the Greatest Hero the Magical World has Ever Known.
Even if her guard was down.
Isn't Alucard literally nigh invincible?
I'm much more familiar with the Negima side of the equation than the Hellsing side (I only saw the TV series - horror anime isn't my thing), but it's hinted in that he's Dracula himself. Also he survives all sort of damage; according to wiki, including decapitation and being staked through the heart. Eva was impaled through her lower torso, ...
Jack Rakan nukes Alucard through the power of being Jack Rakan.
This thread isn't about Jack Rakan, you say? Well, Rakan just went for it and, what do you know, now it is.

What level of nigh-invincible? Has a lot of terms of meaning for a lot of different series (something nigh-invincible on Earth is cannon fodder to a space series and their nigh-invincibles are cannon fodder to the upper tier ...
Full release? Alucard's going to be little more than an amorphous mass of blood and shadows, along with a massive army of everyone he's ever eaten. I doubt anything she can throw at him could kill him.
When a vampire turns into a swarm of bats, how many of the bats need to be killed before it becomes a problem for the vampire? I've never really thought about this before right now. I would imagine the answer may be different for Alucard and Evangeline.
Erhem: Even a High Daylight Walker would have trouble getting out of that. The statement is plain: It shows that Eva could most likely get out, but it would be hard to do. So its obviously not impossible. It merely implies how nasty it is BECAUSE it would give her Trouble. After all, Nagi did it... sprinting, while carrying the girl he loves.

What, is she going to coalesce after they shit her out? Maybe, the magic shutdown might prevent that though. I agree though, the best solution is to not get eaten in the first place. Considering the transformation into a swarm of bats, it is possible she coalesces while...
