Kartz, I also have DW8 loaded, which I've stepped back to until this issue is resolved -- slower than CS4 with some tasks, but works fine.

I really don't think it has anything todo with antivirus, it's purely coincidence, and the fact that ALL windows users should have AV makes it an easy tagget for blame. If it's crashing on Macs to then it sort of rules AV out. I think it's more down the the underlying code (which is shared on macs and pcs). I think I should be more specific about my crashes...   DW simply quits on me... no warning... no error messages... no send error report to Microsoft... nothing... it simply leaves me looking at my desktop as if the program had never been open.

Jamie, have you looked here:  http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/contact.html   Dreamweaver is listed in the dropdown, and at the bottom of the page are the various means of contacting support.   That's about the only way I know of contacting them.

Jamie, my comments were directed towards bellevuefineart. Working on files solely on a server, it seems to me, would cause a lot of problems, for the reasons he mentioned (timeouts). I can see where that would crash DW.   You have other issues going on. I can certainly sympathize...I have my own share of issues trying to build a website in DW CS4...I don't have a lot of crashes, but many other problems, like DW generating wrong...
