Thread: does anyone else log out, but is still logged in

me! its annoying cos i stay logged in on my work PC

I think that it is something to do with 'cookies' on your machine which remember your settings. You can delete them which will stop you staying logged in. Don't ask me how though....

It can be whether you use newrider.com or newrider.co.uk or put a www infront of those. Your browser might generate a cookie for each combination and then sometimes get confused about logging out. Clearing your cookies will sort it out but you'll have to then log back into other sites you use as well.

mike, i use www.newrider.com at work and yes i have tried clearning cookies/wiping entire history etc. every time i log out and go back to the site the next day im still logged on. i never log out on home PC but would very much like to be able to at work!

at work i can see little problem if the boss sees what your really browsing on i don't mind just wondered. i can try clearing the history
