Thread: disco 2 power loss on hills

Hi all i am a new member. I have a disco 2 td5 94k had new fuel pump fitted as old one noisy (initial problem), also new o seals and washers put on injectors as letting air into fuel system causing disco to cut out . But since having it back from garage lacks power on hills (not steep either!! )speed drops alot lucky to get 50mph. i have also fitted new MAP sensor and MAS have had improvement but...

Re: ignition cylinder replacement If you have the factory fitted immobiliser and it's working then you will need a correct working fob to re-mobilise the engine. A LR dealer can supply programmed fob so can people as Remote Key there are a few others on the www. __________________...

Re: Problem refitting front number plate Lots of sun in Kent so I had a look behind my front bumper (the last unexplored place on my disco without removing anything) and as I have an A bar this is fitted with two hex bolts through the bumper to the outer ends of the A bar. Re: Window and Door Trim 1. A fairly common problem with the nylon wheels breaking up. 2. All door studs slot in to holes in the door card but then bits break off around the hole so the clip doesn't fit. so just use a strong glue and stick them in the holes. You can by the clips on ebay or from a dealer....

Re: Door edge/puddle lamps That was quick so well done Baz, till the puddle lights then The RRC used a Y harnes in the door to common up the two lamps so look out for that. __________________ 1997 Discovery ES V8 auto. Re: Five days and ive got another prob if the windscreen has a warranty of 12 months that is for faults in manufacture there is either a fault in the windscreen but more likely the idiot that fitted your screen just hasn't fitted the wires to one side of screen .the warranty should be honoured kick up a big fuss and ask to speak to a area manager, the loader you shout the more likely they are to do a good will claim for you, don't...
