I thought all 5.4 from 97-01 came with forged crank and 50/50 02-04 came with forged cranks?

different pistons, thats it. some reg. 5.4's had forged cranks, and all have the same rods.

N/A have higher compression pistons thats about all. Wayne

yep they're pretty much identical other than the compression ratio. N/A's are a little higher compression. Other than that, same block, same heads, same cams, same rods, and many N/A trucks have the same forged crank.

I didn't know there was a cast crank in any 5.4's.
