Thread: desperately need lunch ideas!

anyone have any lunches that their kids enjoy? we are wheat, dairy and egg free and i'm really running out of ideas!!

veganlunchbox.blogspot.com/ they are vegan, so everything is egg and dairy free. As for wheat skip or use an alternative to what she uses. I also recommend starting at the beginning of her blog (2005).

We are not allergic to wheat and my 4 & 2 yr old prefer lunch meat roll ups that they dip in Veganaise.  We also like chicken salad- no bread and chicken salad with noodles mixed in.  Pretty much anything with Veganiase is a hit around here.   We use Hormel Natural Choice lunch meat and they are very good with labeling. Roads End Organics makes Mac and Chreese.  I thought it was pretty good ...

Sarah eats yogurt (she used to be on coconut milk yogurt, but is now tolerating regular), snapea crisps, fruit, rice bread toast with jam, homemade muffins (banana, pear-millet, cornbread), dinner leftovers (she loves things with meat &/or blackbeans-both are HUGE favorites of hers).  I have made quesadillas with chicken or beef and/or beans on corn tortillas (she can do cheese now, do you have ...

I have a toddler, so we are still in finger-food mode. But he really likes "three sisters salad": beans, corn niblets and cooked squash cut up, with a little garlic and olive oil. They were traditionally grown together in native american cultures, and I think they combine to be a complete protein. I also cook apple chunks in a little juice and cinnamon, and keep it in the fridge for snacks/...

Angela Hi, what kind of lunch meat from Hormel natural choice do you get? Because I was reading that it has Lactic Acid Starter Culture, I never tried lunch meat with my son and I really want to try it but I don’t know what kind is   safe for him (milk and egg allergy) Thank you!

leylamoss-  They state on the ingredient list on the package which ones are "not from milk".   We buy turkey, ham, roast beef and salami.
