It started last week Monday (2nd Nov); I switched on my laptop (Packard Bell Easynote LE (MB-88) with 2 GB RAM) and logged into my Windows profile (Vista Home Premium, 32bit). The Welcome page came up... and that's where it stayed! When I stwiched off and back on, I was prompted to go into Safe Mode, which I did. I noticed that the system files loaded...

Hope in some way this helps, good luck and post your results.
Hey Stoney,
Thanks for the reply.
I did indeed try using the System Restore facility (I should have mentioned that earlier). There were four Restore points; none of them worked.
Mind you, I haven't tried that since uninstalling the Bluetooth software... hold the phone.

Here is another solution, it is more common than you think, so don't worry too much. You may also have to re-activate it again. You may be prompted to activate Windows Vista on a computer on which Windows Vista was already activated by a Volume License or OEM installation Or you can go here and re-activate it. http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/def...displaylang=en
