Hi everybody , I try to command the control valve opening percentage by passing port rs232 . Hello ktu,   All of these writes to your device will be through the VISA Write and if you read anything back will be done with the VISA Read.  To write the commands to your device, you will want to use the VISA calls within the loop with the event structure.  Alternatively you could also use the setup that you have in the first loop where you only send your writes when you toggle that boolean.  Hope this helps!
