Thread: conditional formatting a text field in microsoft.public.access

not sure what i am missing I have a position field that if the word 1st is anywhere in it I want it to turn red. It is a text data type I have tried field value is equal to like '*1st*' just '*1st*' not sure what I am doing wrong??? - not turning red.- and yes I se the formatting to red?? I am sure my syntax ...
