Thread: cart fees

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by live-4-golf
My brother has offered to sell me 1996 Club CAR for $800 and I1m thinking on it,but I found a catch here at the local courses, they have a trail fee for personal carts and I would only be saving $1.00 per round (9 holes,my docs orders) which makes it not too inviting a deal to buy a cart. Has any of your courses have a cost on personal carts?

My home course has a storage fee that is $210/year. With the cost of carts if I play 14 rounds of 18 holes I will save money. I average about 60 rounds a year at least, most of those being 18 holes so for me it would pay off quickly. If I included my wife who is now playing it would only take 7 rounds to pay off so for me it's a great deal. Now I just need the money for a cart..lol.

My club course has set the trail fees at about $800 if you want to use their cart, or you can pay ~$1200 and use the club's carts (both, unlimited). So when you factor in the cost/maintenance of the cart, it is almost prohibitive to have your own cart. Or, you can use the club's carts on a 'per use' basis ($10/9 holes; $20/18 holes).
