tomorrow i *may be clipping Tontos legs out, he isnt the hairyest cob(although Clydesdale x so should be lol) but has a fair amount of feather and mane and as he is getting older and is needing booted up properly for work as well as the fact he gets bad mud fever i am considering clipping them. However i realise there is a debate re clipping shou8ld go with hogging(inc forelock lol) but he has ...

He's lovely! Ahem, sorry... His hog is beginning to grow out here but you get the idea. I think yours will look fantastic hogged and trimmed.

sometimes tedis hogged--sometimes hairy and sometimes in-between it's my belief he looks cool every way (i might just might be a teeny weeny bit biased) here is a hogged ted in winter here ia a hogged ted in summer here is a hairy ted in winter and a hairy ted in summer and ted in between -- in between the seasons too...

It'll grow back if you do go for it! Do it, hun, then you can decide if you do/don't like it. I still haven't decided if it was a horrible mistake or a brilliant idea! No pics cos I don't want to cause a riot re forelock again!

omg my mare looks horrendous with a mane, and looks lovely when hogged! she has sweetitch so its easier to have her hogged anyway cos otherwise the sweeitich rug is too tight around her neck! lol! my current dillemma is whether to clip her feathers! i LOVE feathers but she does get quite scurfy skin, so wondering if its better to clip since shes hogged already. Mind you i wouldnt want to clip out her whole legs - can i clip them at a decent...
