Thread: buick engine

i'd like to put a 78' buick electra 350 into a 74' chevy truck that had a chevy 350. Would i have to change brakets and if so where would be a good place to buy them?

Ayuh,... If it's a Buick block,... You're going to have All kinds of fitment issues... Good Luck...

If that 78 really has a Buick motor (front distributor) then you will need to fabricate motor mounts, as they are completely ...

Im pretty sure its a buick engine, it has front dist. and i'd like to just pull it out of the car with tranny and put it in the truck. i believe the tranny is 3spd automatic not sure what kind though?

Im pretty sure its a buick engine, it has front dist. and i'd like to just pull it out of the car with tranny and put it in the truck. i believe the tranny is 3spd automatic not sure what kind though?
