Download BlueScreenView No installation required. Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program. When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All . Go File>Save Selected Items , and save the report as BSOD.txt . Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

That's fine... Open Windows Explorer. Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder. If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply. [ Vista users ] You may need to copy .dmp files, paste them into some other folder, or desktop, and zip them there.

windows 7 will arrive to my door sometime this week, and i am hoping to get the installation done on Fri. or Sat. can i go ahead and do a whole CLEAN upgrade? (vista -> 7)?

Broni replied 1 month ago
You sure can, but it'd be nice to see your BSOD report to see, if we're not dealing here with some hardware problems. QUOTE i had this comp for 3 months

Did you perform clean Win 7 install, or was it an upgrade? If this is desktop, don't use any power saving features. They never work properly.
