It is really sad when you are trying to find some work boots for women, and you have to end up buying Buster Brown childrens boots. I have been to two different malls trying to find some Timberlands or other hiking/work boots. I did find a pair of women's Timberland's after I bought the chidlren's boots and will keep both since I really could use both pair. There a thousands of men's...

Wow, that's really surprising. Did you try a specialty store such as REI or something like that?

I did go to Bass Pro Shop. They had one pair of boots that didn't fit right plus they wanted $148 or something like that for them. I forgot about REI. I think there is one about 40 minutes from me. I also hated to spend a ton for them since I planned to get them pretty dirty. I did find a pair of Catepillar Steel Toe boots that were on sale for $74, but they didn't have them in my ...

well you have them now - but something to keep in mind for next time - Zappos or Shoe Buy - free shipping - both way shipping is free in case you need to return them.

Leslye, Not sure just what type of boot your are after, but try Galls. They handle firefighter and police tactical. I am sure you will find what you are looking for there. http://www.galls.com/category2.html?assort=general _catalog&cat=2799
