Thread: better bottle spigot and bottle filler

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by iamfoamy
I recently bought a better bottle with a spigot, and I want to attach my 3/8" bottle filler to it. The spigot seems a little too small to accept the bottle filler. Has anyone else run into this problem?

You don't generally attach the bottle filler right to the spigot, you attach them with a length of hose.

Look up Revvy's bottling tips. I use his idea of a small section of hose on the spigot, and have the bucket elevated.

I can attach the bottle filler directly to a spigot on a bucket, but the better bottle spigot is a little bit smaller. I can attach a 1/2" I.D. tube to the spigot, but that is too big for the bottle filler (3/8").
