sun/shoulders

wed/rest
then reapeat again
is this ok or is it 2much rest,im a hardgainer but im eating alot and find i used 2 overtrain and did'nt see much results
What about a push/pull/legs?
Or even a upper/lower split?
Try adding 2-3 days rest in between each work out, so your prop
rested. Im a hard gainer (super ecto) & It seems to be working

But everyones different

If your training intense enough with compounds it WILL take a few days to recover
That work out you posted would burn me out in no time at all, just experiment till you find your own sweet spot, eg I add dropset/slow ...
You want mass **** isolation off. Train a 3 day full body hitting all big compounds movements.(you could even train upper lower 4 if you want) You want to maximize growth hormone and give the muscle plenty of stimulus, a 3-4 day split doesn't do that enough unless you benching and rowing 250lbs+ etc...
example 3 day split
Bench press, pullups, SL deadlifts military press
Incline bench ...
day 1 chest/bis or tris/abs
day 2 rest
day 3 back/tris or bis/forearms/abs
day 4 rest
day 5 shoulders/legs
day 6 rest
one day on-one day off.
big muscle groups 3-4 exercises ,sets/reps 3x10,8,6
small muscle groups 2-3 exercises,sets/reps 3x12,10,8
