I too am completely confused about this whole shot! Aidan did get his regular flu shot from his dr. I did not want to get the swine flu vaccine for myself only because it is still do new, they don't know enough about it and what side effects the shot can cause years later. Then I found out that Aidan's dr's office had them and was recommending them to 6m-23m olds, and 5-9 year olds. I am so confused as to whether I should get...

We both got the seasonal flu shot, but I don't plan on us getting the H1N1 shot. I really have no other reason other than that it is so new and I just have a feeling.

All 3 of us have gotten the normal flu shot, none of us are getting the H1N1.. I have no solid reasoning other than *I* don't see the need for us to get both, I guess. We are around people a lot with our particular jobs, and Hannah is around kids.. so I thought it best we get them to err on the safe side. We are not doing the H1N1 shot simply because I am concerned that they rushed the vaccine and don't really now all the side effects or problems that it can cause. No we are not. Mostly because it is so new and I don't trust it. But I stay home with him and we will just take extra precautions to keep us all healthy.
