Thread: alterations question

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by tonyandstef
Did you/are you waiting until you get the dress, and then setting up an alteration appt.? Or are you doing it way in advance, and setting an appt. up before the dress arrives? I'm not sure what protocol is for this.... And of course, I don't want to get behind with the planning. Thanks ladies! Happy Friday!

I'd say it depends on who you want to use. If you're trying to get in to someone like Mary Catomy, then book early! I was lucky because I bought a sample dress and didn't have to wait months for it to come in so I went ahead and set something up about 4-5 months in advance. But if you know when you'll have your dress, I say go for it. There's nothing wrong with being ahead of schedule!...
