I'm wanting to buy something like the Panasonic ZS3 for a circumnavigation trip i'm going on after christmas, and am hoping to get it for a good price on black Friday. What other good cameras like the ZS3 would you guys recommend for purchasing on black Friday?

The ZS3 is an excellent camera. If you want a pocketable camera with a long zoom lens and don't have a problem with its size (it's not an ultracompact) and its price (about $300) it's probably the best camera of its type on the market.

Any good black friday recommendations? I am looking to get a good camera, with wide angle, at least 10mp, at least 4x zoom and at least 720p video capabilities... I was looking and very interested in the ZS3, but thats a bit too much for me now... Does anyone know of anything like this being available at a discount for black friday?...
