All, I'm attempting to get a ZRM installation functional. I have the following: ZRM-enterprise-3.0-installer.bin patch6529.zip socketinterface.so.linux Before I began installation: rpm -e mysqlclient10-3.23.58-4.RHEL4.1 rpm -e --nodeps mysql-4.1.20-1.RHEL4.1 I then performed the following steps: 1) chmod +x ZRM-enterprise-3.0-installer.bin 2) ./ZRM-enterprise-3...

ZRM looks to configure the default MySQL server (installed at default location on the ZRM server) for backups. If you do not have MySQL server installed at default location, you can ignore this message. Please configure your MySQL server parameters in the Backup|What page. Paddy

Found some additional documentatiion which begins with 'PreInstallation checks', not going to hold back on this - its lousy. The setup steps don't note whether these apply to newer versions (3.0). My favorite so far is the instruction to download the innobackup.pl from the Zmanda Network (where exactly?). My suggestions are these: 1) Develop a formatted document for each product...
