Circuit Photos http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2009/10/0...d-in-pictur es/ Circuit Video Martin Brundle & David Coulthard's views on the track Quote: You mentally get so used to all the modern tracks getting more and more run off, and then in Abu Dhabi suddenly the run offs are really short because of this Tecpro Barrier. Here's to hoping the race is won by Jenson Button, the 2009 Formula One World Champion. Eh, sunama?

I know that wasn't the fastest lap, but it's a very slow circuit by the looks of things, broken up with one or two faster sections. Looks like it'll be quite a technical challenge in some parts too, though lots of run off is boring as we all know! That dust should clear up by the time practice is up. If more comes on to the track it could cause problems though. This should suit ...

Dust anyone? Dust? no? Dust? No dust?

Race edit from the Brazilian GP is up and it's a bit pants, nowhere near the quality of some of the others (last year's Brazilian GP as one example, that was a brilliant compilation).

Anyone want to guess when the first accident in the pit lane exit is going to happen? Dreadful design. Run-off area for T1 goes under the grandstand! So you get a car launched into the air and what then? Reminds me of a theme park. Definitely a chunk of Mickey Mouse about it.

I have an instant dislike for this track from what i have seen/read about it so far, it just seems a bit wrong! Hopefully this weekend will change my mind though.

this is worth a watch can see why bernie as a businessman is struggling with hosting the grandprix in britain, when theres countries like this queing up to throw money at him. Interesting to hear its also going to host a round of the Porsche Supercup, GP2 Asia and the V8 Chevrolet Supercars. (A Copy of australias V8 supercars but with the Vauxhall VXR 8 sold in ...

If there WERE not rules that govern swerving in the breaking zones then fair enough - however people might not like it these rules do exist, and therefore should be acted upon by the stewards/ race control when they are broken Or maybe some on here just want the stewards to act when it suits them or when the stewards are having a bad day because their wife left them etc etc......

Certainly can never accuse the BBC of not giving F1 the proper level of coverage still on Air with the forum 4 hours after the show started. Hats off to them this season, Can't see many personnel changes for them next year, shame Mike Gascoigne got a job else he could have replaced EJ Legard isn't the best but can't see him being replaced after 1 season. Oh and the Chain is still the daddy of sporting theme tunes even after all...
