Thread: Y530 Hot when lid closed in "sleep" mode - lenovo community

I have the power options set to "Sleep" when the lid is closed. Sometimes I have to run and pop the still-on but presumably Sleeping computer in my backpack. When I take it out it's extremely hot. Is this normal? Is it not sleeping properly?
