Hello, I try to create software raid10: mdadm --create /dev/md0 --level=10 --raid-devi ces=4 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sdd1 /dev/sde1 mdadm: array /dev/md0 started. After this: mdadm -D /dev/md0 or any other access to md0 (like pvscan) server reboots. With Xenserver 5.5 this works with no problems. Thank You!

I was struggling with this already 3 days with no luck. After creating linux RAID and accessing md0 server reboots. I was even trying to wipe out discs that I am using for RAID, format them with ext3 and again go back to RAID partitions but none of this helped. This is some critical bug in XEN 5.6 . Now I installed 5.5 version and waiting for hotfix or new version that solves this problem. I am ...

Hello! I am currently experienci ng the same problem. my software-r aid setup from 5.5 stopped working after the update to 5.6. the raid5 was degraded and strange kernel-pan ics showed up at dmesg and the debug-cons ole. adding the lost drive to the array did not work. after setting up the "add"-comm and the console stopped working. other consoles via ssh ore local did work. I restored the backup...
