I was down at the shop picking up the new Tau Dex and some more Stealths, and I saw they had a conversion contest! No paint required, who-hooo!!! Anyways, the rules were to create a non-presexisting Xenos Unit, (ex: Orks, Eldar) 5 strong unit, with a leader/commander.. 1st place is $50, second $25, third, $15 :: bitz orders. This was on Saturday, I have until wednesday September 20th, ...
Great stuff! It's nice that you chose to do something small and somewhat simple. I think it's very striking. Nice poses too; I really like the guy in the back with the telescope. Good luck in the contest!
The bodies look like Skaven Plague Monks and I think the heads are beastmen ungors? It's hard to tell without the horns. I can't tell what the guns are, unfortunately.
The guns are just chopped up lasguns. Awesome idea, the face on these guys remind me of the monsters from the movie The Descent (pretty good movie). CHS Leprechaun
Thanks guys, my original idea was to convert a group of Navigators, simply cause adding a pillenial eye to the middle fo their forehead would be very easy to do, but they weren't alien enough, had the plague monk sprue sitting round for awhile after seeing the Jawas on Dakka Dakka by ESDK (?) Tremendously Well Done BTW!! and it's nice and quick conversions, GS is drying now, I'll take ...

Here's them with some bitz and different angles, I will be doing one final GS stage for minor touch-ups but this is pretty much it! Wish me Luck! I think they turned out alright, good enough for the time I had...

Here is the first GS stage: and it is now Tuesday Morning, 1 More day left!!!!
