well, I see we havnt got a answer from microsoft yet. every update someone has issues. Wonder how much microsoft makes off of repairs. I for one cant afford to keep fixing these things, fireman dont make allot of money. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue? Mine wont read anything now, and was working fine before the last update, an has slowy gone down hill

Last night I installed a mandatory update and ever since I can't seem to play games that uses the disc. The game would start up and just freeze or say that it's unreadable. I'm able to play arcade games, watch dvds, and other stuff but I just can't play games. I've tried playing without storage devices and playing with the game (and different others) installed/not installed. No luck and same result. Everything is...

That happened to me after a previous update.? I pulled the power and let it sit for several minutes, and also reseated the HD.? It worked ok after.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Discs that played a few days ago are not reading. Brand new discs are not reading. I'm not even sure the discs are being spun in the system.

Mine just randomly started doing this. I put the game in it says that its reading it then it just goes back open tray. <mod removed> am I supposed to do to fix it?!?!?!?!
