Thread: Xbox.com | D-F (Xbox 360 Games) - How significant is making 1550 achievement

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by GutsyCmorbutts
Personally I put little stock in people telling me they have all the achievments. Anyone can get the acheivements at the easist game levels. To get the achievements people should have earned them on the very hard game play to really earn these accomplishments. I am more impressed with the hardness level a person beats the game, or how many hours it took to max out at level 30 and have all skills ...

It's about as significant as any other game. Achievements mark what you have done in a game. Sometimes these can have some other benefits like Avatar Awards, or giving something extra like an unlockable character in the next game of taht series, but most of the time they just say "This person did this." If anything, Gutsy, it's just a record. Different people will have different feelings about ...

Good to  see that you commented. No this is not a contest to see who has done what or a "power game".  I could not tell you at what difficulty level I attained many of the achivements, no more then I could yours, but if the default was set to very hard, they would mean more.I just think your scared if you play on the easier levels and been playing as long as you have as opposed to challenging ...

No I understand you and posted the the question for discussion and you obliged. But don't you think if you busted your hump to do all these achievements at the hardest level and I came along, thumping my chest saying I did what you did, would'nt that have a hollow meaning to it. If you a ran race in High school and won state and went to the podium to take first prize and all the competitors you ...

And I only posted this to get discussion going. I only recently made the four or five acheivements I required, and I honestly could not tell you the hardness I made some of the earlier ones. I was having too much fun doing other aspects of the game. Everyones skill level is different. After 1500 hours of playing, I don't know everything, but I do like challenges and some people come on the forum ...

Okay, here's something for you to think about. If you wanna play the game at it's maximum power, then go right ahead and do that. If you truly enjoy the game, then you wouldn't try to brag about what you're doing over the xbox forums. You're supposed to enjoy the game for what it is, not so you can complain to strangers about how you're doing everything on very hard and they're not. Because ...

There are a few achievements that can be missed if you do not know what you are doing.  If your character is bad at the speech challenges you will not get that achievement.  Or it might take you a while to do. I got 62/72 achievements in my first play through which took me well over 100 hours. How is that bad?  Fable 2-1350/1350 Oblivion-1250/1250 A Kingdom for Keflings-200/200 Uno-200/...

You misunderstand what I say. Play at your own level, do what you want to do. I don't know everything about this game, but Why is?playing the hardest difficulty setting a "power player". To me a power player plays like a tank, crashing through eveything. I don't play that way. I use my brain, in some cases I look to alternatives if I know an enemy is too strong to engage early on. I'll give you an example At...
