Thread: XSE vs. Combat Elite

Is there much difference between the full size, blued 1911 XSE and the combat elite, other than the obvious cosmetic differences, stainless frame and nicer grips? I am talking about the new ones. I like them both and am trying to decide which way to go. In the perfect world, I would buy both, but don't see that happening..... Thanks,,, Ron

I think the only difference's are Nicer grips on the C/E color of the frame Solid(XSE) v Two-tone (C/E) S&A grip safety (C/E) Ambi safety (CSE) v Single side thumb safety (C/E) and the addition of the Novak rear sight on the combat elite. I know the new Combat Elite is supposed to be a CNC made pistol, the XSE I am not sure, it looks like the exact same pistol otherwise. If any one knows different I haven't heard. Anyone know...
