Todd, Weren't you asking around 5k for your bike? I would think you could get a nice Wrangler (yj), or a high mileage 97 up wrangler for that kind of money. I looked for a couple months and got my 95 yj 4.0 lift and 33's for 4k haven't seen any close to that again for a while but the 4 cylinders are around that much yj's that is just check around on CL that's what I did. If your CJ missfires when it is hot it could be an ignition problem maybe a DUI ignition could fix for around 200 bucks and if it is ignition the CJ5 would have the same problem (unless it had an updated...
