Remove all Advertisements I found this on craigslist and im drooling over it. But i would need it to be my faily driver, and to take my bikes places. What do you guys think?? if you half to ask,the answer is NO,sorry to smash your passion,a ride such as this is going to be finiky. could it be reliable, sure if YOU possess the knowlege,time,money to make it so. better check out a s10

I know only a few people with pickups that get 5-8 mpg. A 500hp 383 should be in that range. They own farms and the fuel is on the same bill as semis and tractors. Your bill will hit hard.... Just something to think about.

My expedition gets about 15-16 MPG and I spend $100+ on gas every week, and I would imagine that El Camino to be at least half that, so probably $200+ gas bill every week. Don't forget about maintenance and up keep; oh and speeding tickets. Practical? Not really....Fun yes!

Oh and I work on the shuttle!Hope it doesn't sounds like it; it would rattle windows for 100 mile radius. That would be an automatic ticket and not to mention your hearing would be shot....lol.

it's one but ugly year for an elcamino . get a 70 or something not that new flat grilled car , to me it looks like 80's junk , not a beautiful classic 60's-early 70's muscle car .
