I was managing Barcelona and at the start of the season Messi suffered damaged cruciate ligaments. Out for 5-6 months. Stats didnt decrease and he slotted right back into the team.

After a really bad injury does a player get worse because of fitness or decreased attributes? I've had no really bad injuries that I can remember but when I downloaded the editor (to make a team, not cheat) I was thinking of adding cancer (the maximum severity and length of time out, etc) and death (which would end a players career). I thought how funny it would be if I got a message saying "...
