The app itsel starts fast, the library works well with 50gb of music loaded then it takes about 10 seconds to start the first song (because it has to load the codec or something) and after that it's fine

does WMP run really slow on your computer or is it just my 2 computers It takes yonks to come on and should have a bit more on it ..........is there a new Version on W7 If there is .....is it faster and better?

It was slow as hell for me on Vista and I don't have a crap pc at all. Windows 7 however...ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM I should also add that Vista slowed down for me when I installed SP2

DirectPriest Mensageiro: People use WMP? why not? it's pre-installed, it has a library with a search bar and it plays the songs. I use WMP for music. for video i use the media player classic that comes with a codec pack i usually install
