Thread: Windows Experience Index is screwed up?

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by jfeng92
I just got a 3.2 AMD Phenom II X4 processor. Why is the CPU rating on windows 7 so low? It is 3.6 and I am getting higher scores with my Pentium 4 processor.

thats strange i get 6.2 on a intel dual core have you refreshed it a few times, i had it once report only 2.3 on an nvidia gts250 for graphics but i refreshed it and got 6.0, to be fair though i dont think the experience index is anything to worry about too much, as long as the computer performs well thats all i worry about

^I'd agree.. I wouldn't base your PC on what windows rates it at. That's a very hit and miss base line. You'd be better off running something like passmark , super pi , etc..
