Thread: Will you participate if we to run a photo competition on Full tank shot ?

I saw quite a few of you guys are setting up your shellies tank. Will you participate if we were to run a photo competition on Full tank shot ? We will follow the guideline as per AF FW photo contest. However, that tank MUST belong to the submitter of the photo and max tank size is limited to 2ft. This is a thread for me to gather some feedbacks and sort of like a survey for an ad hoc...

Depending on the respond, I am considering all theme as long as they are under 2ft. (but exclude planted set up) pls keep posting your feedback.

Ben, Looks like I am the odd one out. LOL I tried shooting full tank before but result is always very poor. Need plenty of lights/flash to get a decent picture.

No worry, Richard. I am testing water and see the respond. Probably will be looking at 50% on setup/deco and 50% on photo quality. It is not that hard to shoot tank size that is 2ft and under but still, need quite a fair bit of light and I recommend to use tripod with lower shuttle speed.

thanks for the kind comment, maybe i should use a black background jus for photo shoot. Ok i will do a new photoshoot in 1 week time haha anyway, is there any good method to remove those water stain which u see on the top of tha tank?

I like your woods sen_jie. Black background and crop to tank's dimension and you are good to go for competition. Good luck!
