This is a legitimate question..............he is getting older and he has only won once since early 2004, and it was a Fall Finish event...........he seems to get a lot of good finishes each year to keep his world ranking high but he is rarely in the mix on the back nine on Sundays..............if I had to guess I would say he will win a couple of more times but I do not say that with a lot of ...
I think that he will win another.
Every so often, you will hear someone bash Weir for failing to close the deal when he has been in contention.
I'm just as disappointed that "our guy" let one slip away but I choose to look on the bright side.
At least he was in the mix.
Keep on pluggin' away, Mike. We're pulling for you. (well, some of us are)
I have no idea, but I'm hoping he does.
At least he knows how to win multiple times, which a lot of the young 'up and comers' never learn to begin with.
I think all he needs to do is find the fairway more often. He's in the junk way too much for my liking.
I think he will. Tough to say -- he's starting to get to the point where he's not a youngster anymore. But he still plays very good golf -- his problem is that he'll often have one terrible round in a tournament that takes him out of contention.
It's been a blessing and a curse for him that he's Canadian. His level of celebrity would not be nearly what it is had he been American, so that's ...
Just one more win to better Knudson
Hope he gets it.
There will be no more majors for sure.
Its been a great watching him, thats a given
Heres hoping some of the young collegians will step up soon
It looks like Weir loses it in the third round. Second round is good, so he can play under pressure to make the cut, but he is definitely below average on the weekend. I wonder why is so inconsistent. He can obviously play with the best, but not every weekend. I don't think that he will win again, but I certainly hope that I am wrong. He is a great player to watch when he is on top of his game, but he sure can be frustrating to watch. I...

he can win if he plays a course rewarding accuracy not length...and he figures out his putting problems....aside from his 61...this past wknd....he has repeatedly been missing putts bad for mths...i am not talking lip outs or bad reads...i am talking missing the hole by a couple inches over and over never scaring the hole...missing on the low side...which is the equivalent of you or i missing by five feet.
Weirsy just received Order of Canada a couple of days ago. Having to attend the ceremony might have prevented him to play in Shanghai Good on him. To be honest, I thought he received them years ago after his Masters win.

Lets see 2008 - 26 events - 20 cuts made - 8 top 10s - $3,000,000+ earnings 2009 - 24 events - 20 cuts made - 6 top 10's - $2,500,000+ earnings Sounds just like a guy that's all washed up to me!!! I'll lean towards MW winning several more times before he hangs up the spikes!! gbr
