I had a run in with an Ohio state trooper that acted kinda like the officer mentioned here...I didn't get zapped though. Every time I think about it... I still wish I had shoved that Glock up his arse. I have nothing against cops, per se....but there are a few out there that need a lesson in respect and manners. (in other words...they need a good ole country arse whoopin) Incidents ...

Why is an off duty officer driving a patrol car, armed, and "securing high value loads" (which is bullsh)?

Because the Truckstops HIRE "off-duty" officers for SECURITY. I am not sure about Missouri, but when my step-father was a SO in Colorado, he was required to purchase and maintain his own "Sheriff's" car.

Ok then. I'm not stopping at any truck stops with security, especially that one. At least I know if some random stranger kills me in a dirt lot they'll get caught and punished for it.
