Hoping that some kind sole out there can give some advise on the following... I am currently receiving a Widows Pension based on my late husbands contributions of 40years employment. Apart from a few years prior to my marriage I have not been in payed employment for 35 years. My daughters were born in 1975 and 1978 and I received child benefit. I am aware that when I reach pensionable ...

I think you would be entitled to full state retirement pension based on your late husband's contributions. If he had any SERPS it may be possible for you to inherit that in addition. HTH

I think you would be entitled to full state retirement pension based on your late husband's contributions. If he had any SERPS it may be possible for you to inherit that in addition. HTH
