its not better unfortunately... it performs exactly the same as PSN in its MAIN use which is letting gamers play games ONLINE... however since we (incl myself) 360 owners have to pay extra, 360 fanboys try to justify it by listing a couple of extra features (cross-game chat, Netflix etc) which are NOT ESSENTIAL to gaming / play games online (dont forget these same 360 fanboys are quick to point out that Blu-ray, WIFI etc are not essential to...

I think it really depends on who you ask. Most Playstation 3 owners who don't have a 360 will probably say the PSN is better and vice versa. I have both, but most of my friends are on Xbox Live, so that's why I like it better.
