Thread: Why does SciFi channel hate time shifters?

Once again, my Tivo has captured the last 5 minutes of Scare Tactics and cut off the end of Eureka because they shifted their schedule by 5 minutes. It's too even and routine to be an accidental overrun of a live show. Why are they doing this? Are they trying to force people's schedules to conform to SciFi's schedule? Do they not care that if they keep doing this people will just give ...
I haven't noticed it. Maybe you should set your tivo to record 5 min before and 5 min after a show. I have to set my tivo to record a couple minutes longer when "The Soup" is on since it runs over.

I haven't notice this with Sci Fi either, but when their shows runs over, it usually shows up on my digital guide (I don't have TiVo, though) and my DVR adjusts the timing accordingly. I too set my DVR to record a few minutes longer on my favorites shows, just in case.
E! seems incapable of keeping their schedule on schedule. Their shows in the evenings always start and run late. I ...
Apparently, SciFi Channel doesn't like to have viewers. They try to get rid of them by making the worst movies and TV shows possible and by alienating anyone who likes Science-Fiction.
The "geniuses" at SciFi actually took ads last year to boast of their being "Number 6" (excluding channels that would really have made them #8 or 9...) With the fortunes they spend on original ...
I hate it, I always forget to tape 5 minutes past, and always miss the last 5 minutes, luckily they reply the episodes 2 or 3 in a row, or I wouldn't catch all of one. I have this complaint with sci-fi. They don't care that half the time there times are off, and it is overly annoying.
