Has anyone else noticed? Audi is the new "it" car, and that fact is making bmw owners frustrated, i believe it's a form of jealousy, they realise that they are no longer the ones getting all the attention. Why am i saying this? Well, i've noticed that everyone talks about audi lately, the general public is in love with the a4/a5/s5 and young kids keep dreaming about the R8 and add the fact that ...
The W140 was the last time an S-class was made and designed with cost-no-object development. And relatively simple compared to new ones - they really don't have all the gadgetry you'd even associate with a newer well equipped Accord. I think the previous W126 S-class is better looking, but I like driving the W140 more.

Biggest problem for me would be the sound of the motor - nothing racy about it, even though it delivers the numbers. The Mustang V8 definitely has it covered as far as my ears are concerned. I remember watching a DVD on the original 350Z debut,...
Quote, originally posted by Deflated_97 » I remember watching a DVD on the original 350Z debut, and the lead engineer wanted this car to be a track car from the start. It was designed with critical race features from the start. The emotion I love about the Z, that the other manufacturers don't proclaim, is this undying love for perfomance at a very attainable level. Okay, that's ...
Quote, originally posted by 093slc » I ♥ Top Gear....... Anyone have a Line on getting the seasons on DVD? Besides bit Torrents and ect. Amazon/uk has some. Not always full seasons, but the challenges, etc. These are already probably torrented, I never go that route, because I would rather own the DVD. UK vids require region 2 player capability. They are pretty cheap if you ...

Why does everyone question the existence of, or the need for, gaywheels.com every time their Top 10 list is posted? If you don't support the web site, then don't visit it -- it's that simple. If enough people follow your example, then it will die from a lack of interest -- just like the ghost towns known as TripleZoom and SubDriven here in Vortex land. But I think if you feel that way, ...

Quote, originally posted by VWturbonium » I understand the Hybrid supporters argument but just think BMW pigeon-holed themselves into a tiny niche here. They are essentially looking for people shopping for high-end SUV/CUV's who are willing to pay about three price premiums; a BMW/Luxury premium, and Hybrid premium, and a Performance premium. This for a model that isn't particularly fuel efficient(I know comparatively to...

Quote, originally posted by cougar » Yeah, but Hajduk's point was valid... it's not a "quite different story" as Turbowraith suggested. I've said this a bazillion times... the Mazdaspeed3 and the GTI are close enough in numbers that it comes down to personal preference. Nope. Still gotta pick one, defend it to the death, and piss on all other comers from a great height. That's how car enthusiasts roll,...

AM radio, no a/c, manual windows, 4-speed manual tranny, manual steering, manual brakes, manual choke -- it really was a glorified rollerskate. Never forgave my brother for coming home from college and wrecking it.... My parents had one of these. It's amazing how many filipino's you can squeeze into one of these.
