Started 4 weeks, 1 day ago by tdigi
All what I want to say is well articulated by Avijit Ghosh ---> I have a simple explanation for our ODI series loss. We lost because we did not win one game that we were supposed to win (Mohali) and because we could not hold our nerve in the key moments of the tighter contests (Vadodara and Hyderabad). Come to think of it. MSD and company had everything in their favour. A fully fit ...

Quote: Why India lost the ODI series Because in 2 months, when India will be playing with Australia ( 15th time in a year), there will be media hype to attract billion people " this time, it is a real a badla ( revenge) series)".

Fielding was the real difference between the sides. Ponting alone saved more runs and converterd more half chances in the field than India as a whole in the series. And this is no exaggeration. And ofcourse, for all the big batting names, It is surprising how often their lineup crumbles in bowler friendly conditions

they got bowled out by australia, a team which is missing around 3 or 4 first team bowlers. india's overrated, no other way to put it. lost a series badly at home...

Because Dhoni is doing YK. Blame everyone but himself.

As I mentioned earlier Ponting saved more runs and converted more half chances than the entire Indian team as a whole. That in itself says enough. Other reasons include more consistancy in the top 3 and a better pace attack.

The question of talent only comes in context with the current series. I don't know who said that previous Aussie teams had less talent....

One crucial thing that most teams must understand now even if the aussies dont have the same talent as they they did when they had Langer, Hayden, Gilchrist, Martyn, Warne, Mcgrath, Gillespie, they will always aim for victory no matter what their own resources are or the calibre of the opposition they face. In mental toughness, never say die attitude, the Aussies still remain superior to all teams around the world. Even Pakistan had many...
