You should PM str8bacardil and ask him if he ever got it working without additional charges and how if he did.

In P2K, they could easily change your VM number to forward to whatever number you wanted and calls weren't charged. Maybe this is different in Ensemble, but I definitely remember people reading about figuring out the right magic words to say to Sprint CS to get them to be able to use SimulScribe about a year ago.

Update -- THERE WAS CALL FORWARDING FEES APPLIED!

Do you use text messaging? If so you may lose it if you cancel your VM service. They are tied together somehow I think.
