Thread: Which Super Record pedals?

Started 4 weeks, 1 day ago by Soylent
A friend of mine said that he would let me have a pair of mid 1980s super record pedals with either the titanium axle or the steel. Both are pista. I remember there were issues with the SR titanium hubs with axles bending and braking. Did the pedals have the same issue. Is there any reason I should not choose the titanium axles? Thanks.

The problem with Campy's titanium stuff from that era is that they tried to simply substitute titanium for steel without any redesign to take into account the fact that titanium has different properties than steel.
