Started 2 months, 3 weeks ago by zac_77
Hi there, i am a newbie and have spent sometime on diff forums to see whats experiments i can do with my recently aquired Technomate 1500 ci+. i am planning to put 2 lnbs using a multibracket (to get 13 E & 28.2 E) and using a diseqc switch (this sounded a bit economical to me rather than a motorised dish) my query is that is there any cam / card that can give me some extra channels...

Presumably to minimise loss on stocks and to cater for pukka Cards?

You would be wiser to get a motor, or for the time being stick your dish on 1 West for Digi TV. If you patch your Technomate you will open the same channels as any Cam currently on the market.

You need to check the Dreambox section as this kind of problem requires advice from other Dreambox 500s owners. Check out the Dreambox FAQ's: http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellit...stickies-fa qs/ And the Dreambox 500s section: http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/dreambox500/

i would say at the present moment you are flogging a dead horse you will have to wait for the next batch of files the new generation to go public If the mountain wont come to mohamad then let mohamad go to the mountain

Thers almost nothing open on hooky cards so you need to buy a subscription card if you want to watch most encrypted channels. Digi+ on 1W is open on some receiver patches at the moment, but not for much longer.
