hopefully the raiders so we can atleast watch him slowly rot away what little potential he still had left.  Also signing with oakland is the exclamation point to any end of a career

Who will sign him? Raiders Browns Jaguars Titans 49ers Bears Redskins While you would think he would fit right in with the raiders, there's no way they would sign him.

The Texans or Patriots will pick up LJ.

The Texans or Patriots will pick up LJ.     Personally, I think Houston, New England, Seattle, Cleveland, and Philadelphia have the best odds of signing him up.  If it's a waiver claim, I sure hope Cleveland claims him first because they (or Seattle) will be the highest.

LJ to the Pats and then they win another SB.... That sounds just about right! We continue to be a stepping stone for players.

Jason Reid, of The Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins could go after free-agent RB Larry Johnson (Chiefs), who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs Monday, Nov. 9. Head coach Jim Zorn said the team will likely sign a running back if RB Clinton Portis (concussion) can't play in Week 10. Johnson would be paid a prorated sum of $4.55 million base salary for the rest of the season. He is expected to clear waivers.

Somebody WILL be dumb enough to sign him, the question is who?  Al David or the Washington Owner       I see your really knowledable of the NFL Sorry, unlike you I have a real job which requires my attention... excuse me for not taking 10 seconds to think about the name of the washington owner or correct my spelling with Davis.  Get a life 12 inches; or at least find a place to be

Who will sign him? Raiders Browns Jaguars Titans 49ers Bears Redskins   As a Browns fan, I can assure you Mangini definitely won't have anything to do with LJ. Mangini blitzkreiged the roster this year ridding it of poor integrity guys. No chance. Although the Browns need a RB, they'll look for a FA or draft one. As for the other teams you named. Jags- Jones Drew 49ers- Gore Coffee Bears- Forte Titans- Chris Johnson The Raiders...

Decent points. But we're dealing with LJ here. You got to think inside his head. He's a FA now. I highly doubt he's thinking he's at the point in his career where he's a backup. He still thinks he's one of the best. THE only way he accepts a role like that is on a team like the Pats where he has a chance to win a super bowl. Realistically, there's no logical place for him to go other than NE. They have...

He won't go to the Raiders.  They have a log jam at running back as it is. McFadden, Bush, and Fargas are all a better option than LJ. Cleveland sounds like a good place, with Jamal Lewis saying he's going to retire after this season.
