Thread: Where can students find jobs?

Didn't know where else to post this. I'm interested in a job but I can't go for an internship or something (First year) and I don't have a lot of experience although I have some. Where is best to look for jobs? Ryerson has a very ****** job bank and the websites they provide don't do much for me. Thanks to anyone who helps

Are you looking for part time, if so easy since you go school at Ryerson just walk around eatons and hand in resumes to stores that interest you. If that doesn`t help have you ever thought of working for your school like at the cafe, gym, library etc.

Dont put that you have the h1n1 flu on your resume, employers tend to frown on that sort of thing.

in this regard, maybe saying you have the h1n1 vaccine is a bonus!! so u can work through the christmas holiday without sickness

Some common options for students: -Tutoring -Retail -Waitering (good choice if you're good looking) I also heard night shift security guard and factory jobs are suitable for students. Office jobs are a lot harder since fewer companies will want to accommodate your school schedule and most offices are only open weekdays. Good luck. I remember how hard it was to find a ...
